Story
Valiant comics character-based Bloodshot is a 2020 American superhero underrated movie. Starting Vin Diesel as a U. S Marine Ray Garrison whose wife Gina is killed in front of his eyes after an operation in Mombassa after which he is shot to death too. The movie takes its turn when the scientist Dr. Emil Harting brings him back to life with the help of his advanced nanites. The particles are running in Bloodshot’s vein, making him superhuman with incredible strength and ability to heal from any major injury. At Dr. Harting RST lab Ray meets his technological aided co-worker: KT a navy diver with the artificially enhanced respiratory system, Jimmy with super robotic legs after his lower body gets blown up in a war, Tibbs whose blindness is cured with 360° camera that connects directly to his optic nerve. Dr. Harting RST corporation not only has control over Ray’s body, but they also influence his memory. Ray can hack any system and have super strength. Dr. Harting is a controller who reboots Ray memory and plays with it for his profit. The Navy diver KT pops up as a supporting character for Ray. The only person who can help Ray with this is a genius coder Wilfred Wigans (Lamorne Morris). Overall, Bloodshot is an action revenge drama with sci-fi, adequate storyline & mediocre ending.
Screenplay
The first half of the movie makes us think it is another cyborg sci-fi movie, but it is not! The screenplay is exciting and full of twists.
Acting
Vin Diesel is a Hollywood darling known for his convincing acting and action-filled movies, but his action couldn’t help to fill the void in this comic based sci-fi movie. Other actors like Eiza and Lamorne did an excellent job.
Direction
Mr. Wilson did a tremendous job while directing this movie, but this revenge drama lack in some points of narration due to the constant deluding between truth and deception it expressed doubt concerning the veracity of the story.
VFX and CGI:
The computer graphics and visual effects showing the nanites look real no doubt that VFX team did a quite decent job.
Why watch
Bloodshot has been one of Valiant’s top characters for many years. If you are someone who loves sci-fi and action, you can watch this movie.
Rating
This is among one of those movies which could be great, but due to some minor facts, it isn’t up to the mark—7.5/10

Revenge drama with Vin Diesel action and some deluding storyline.
