Even before the launch of her debut novel ‘Scratch‘, the teenage sensation Navya Sharma became famous. The author, who turned 18 a few days back has been showered with praises for her expression of words in the 524-page book. At such a young age, her understanding of life is immense. Recently, her novel was launched officially at Hotel Clarks Amer by Bollywood Actor Rishi Bhutani and Writer-Director Animesh Films Pvt Ltd Avinash Tripathi. Rishi Bhutani has done a movie with the tv actress Hina Khan called ‘Lines’. She was in Cannes to promote her debut film.

The event witnessed an ensembled gathering with dignitaries from various fields. Anchor Ajit flew down to the city, especially for the auspicious day. Kartik Bajoria, Nand Bharadwaj and Jaya Chakravarty discussed the book with other panelists. The place erupted with giggles and clappings during the launching ceremony. Hundreds of students from school and colleges encouraged Navya. The guests said wise words for the young author and looked in absolute awe of her petite writing skills. The media persons eagerly took her bytes for print, web and electronic medium. She got featured in almost 20-25 newspapers and channels.
The renowned radio station Radio City too called her for a fun interview lately. She attributed her inspiration in writing to her Nana (mother’s dad). Navya did her schooling from St. Xavier’s school Jaipur. She started writing the novel at the age of 14 and accomplished it in 2 years. However, initially her parents didn’t approve of it, but they allowed her to pursue the career in it after seeing her devotion, and sincerity toward the art.
People are enjoying the novel. Scratch is the story of a young girl who lives in a fantasy world. Her adventurous journey inspires people to withstand the inner courage and fight with the evil outside and within. The book is available on Amazon and Flipkart
