A tinge of hotness on the breezy winter day slipped into Jaipur when beautiful Style Skool models walked the ramp at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) on Sunday. Amidst vivid and fast beats music, psychedelic lights and public’s enthusiasm the fashion event seemed like a bunch of princesses walking an aisle with fervour. The show which saw the collaboration of tribal and modern day styles of clothing and jewellery. It enormously displayed and journeyed through a sense of cultural and traditional diversity in India’s tribal regions.
The tribal event that started on January 25 will accomplish on February 5. It has over 250 artisans and designers participating from 25 States of the country. For the first time, a fashion amalgamating dresses from the diverse modern and tribal region was showcased. The day witnessed some of the finest conventional designs from tribal designers. Jaipur’s Bagru print, Barmer’s patchwork were also among the major attraction in the evening.
The show was organized under the aegis of Trifed by the central government. The director of the show was Ruma Devi of Chetna Sanstha. The show was choreographed by the owner of Style Skools, Abhimanyu Singh Tomar.
