Lok Sabha Polls 2019: Election dates for Jaipur, Rajasthan

With the announcement of Lok Sabha elections 2019 schedule by the Election Commission of India, all the political parties are unfolding their strategies. The heat has already started brimming up. Verbal attacks, spreading of fake news and taking of pot shots have begun simultaneously. Spokespersons of political parties are going all guns blazing on tv debates to camouflage their vote banks.

The polls will take place in 7 phases starting from April 11 and ending on May 19. The counting will take place on May 23. In Jaipur and precisely in Rajasthan the voting will be conducted on 4th and 5th phases which is April 29 and May 6.

Districts and constituencies that will go in polls on April 29: Kota, Banswara, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Jhalawar-Baran, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Jalore, Pali, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Chittorgarh and Barmer

Districts and constituencies that will go in polls on May 6Jaipur, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Jaipur Rural, Bikaner, Jhunjhunu, Ganganagar, Karauli-Dholpur and Sikar

Interestingly, in 2014 LS polls, the BJP bagged all the 25 seats under Modi wave. However, this time it seems unlikely as the BJP had just lost the assembly elections. Although, a neck on neck fight is anticipated between both the national parties.

Unemployment, farmers’ debt, education and water are among the crucial factors that the election will be fought. Citing the surgical strike 2, BJP has a slight edge over its rivals. Model Code of Conduct has come into force. Now, political parties won’t be able to make any populist announcements with banners, advertisements and social media sites.

So, if you guys want a responsible government in the center, please get your Voter IDs ready and come out in huge numbers, as each vote counts
